1, What is BCIN?
The BCIN(Building Code Identification Number) is a unique number required on all drawings submitted for a building permit in Ontario.
2, How do you become a BCIN designer?
One must first apply to receive a BCIN from the ministry. Once individuals receive a number, they must complete the examination program in their area of study. Once the program and exams are passed, the individual or agency must then register with the ministry.
3, Available Examinations
In accordance with the requirements of the Building Code, Building Code qualification examinations are developed by the Ministry. Through an Agreement between the Ministry and Humber College, the examinations are delivered by the College.

* Fire Protection 2012
* On-site Sewage Systems 2012
